PEP had a busy (but fantastic) summer!

  • Twenty-nine elementary schools with more than 18,300 students participated in Make Summer County free book fairs.
  • PEP co-hosted summer Family Reading Nights at 23 elementary schools, featuring a great group of volunteers who taught interactive read-aloud strategies.
  • The first Greenville Alternative Teacher Education (GATE) program cohort began work in Greenville County Schools.
  • We completed renovations on both our office space and on a new website.
  • We announced our 2016 Partner of the Year, ScanSource, and our keynote speaker for the event, Ron Suskind.
