Greenville, S.C. – February 28, 2018 – Public Education Partners (PEP), Greenville County’s only nonprofit focused solely on improving K-12 public education, recently welcomed six new members to its Board of Directors.
They are: Santora Bowling, Sr. Community Relations Manager, Michelin North America, Inc.; Ana Parra, Senior Account Executive, Hughes Agency; Angie Gossett, Regional Marketing Director, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina; Greg Ingram, Chief Financial Officer, Pacolet Milliken Enterprises; Dan Adams, President & CEO, The Capital Corporation; and Nathan Galbreath, Managing Partner – Attorney, Nelson & Galbreath.
Santora Bowling has over 20 years of experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations and Training with companies such as Kemet Electronics and BMW Manufacturing. She began her career with Michelin in 2006 as a Human Resources Manager, and since April 1, 2014, she has served as the Sr. Community Relations Manager for Michelin North America. She is a graduate of University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management.
Ana Parra has more than 15 years of communications and journalism experience working with non-profit and for-profit organizations. Currently, she is a senior account executive at Hughes Agency and is responsible for public relations, marketing and communications for several clients. Prior to working at Hughes, she led community relations efforts for Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and Greenville Forward.
Angie Gossett has worked in the health insurance industry for 20 years and has always been very involved in her children’s education. Prior to becoming Regional Marketing Director for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, she lived in Illinois and served as the local PTA President and sat on the school district Wellness Committee. which worked to help find ways to mitigate the obesity epidemic among students.
Greg Ingram is the Chief Financial Officer for Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, a Milliken family-owned investment company focused on real estate and energy infrastructure assets. Prior to that, he was founder and managing partner of Foundation Real Estate Partners, a real estate investment and asset management business, and spent nearly 15 years as an investment banker. He grew up and went to school in the Greenville area and received an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
Dan Adams co-founded The Capital Corporation in 1991 as an investment banking firm focusing on mergers and acquisitions to the middle market. As President and CEO of The Capital Corporation, he is responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of the company. Prior to co-founding The Capital Corporation, Adams was with C&S National Bank for 12 years. He is a committed alumnus of USC Upstate and active supporter of the University.
Nathan Galbreath is the managing partner of Nelson & Galbreath, LLC, a Greenville-based real estate law firm, with additional offices in Greer, Spartanburg and Columbia. In addition to public education, Nathan’s interests include conservation of public lands, river access and conservation, and public greenway expansion. He is the son and husband of public school educators, and has three children enrolled in Greenville public schools.
