Building parent leaders
Public Education Partners (PEP) is excited to collaborate with Nicholtown Child and Family Collaborative and the “Brilliant Kids” After School Program as both organizations prepare to launch their own Parent Leadership Partner (PLP) cohorts during the 2026–2027 school year.
The PLP program is designed to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge, confidence, and tools needed to successfully navigate the school system, build strong school-family partnerships, and become effective advocates for their children’s education.
Throughout the planning process, PEP has been leading the way by guiding both organizations in the development of their cohorts, helping to shape meaningful programming, structure, and engagement opportunities for participating families.
